As a 58-year-old cis-gendered woman, I created MenoMagick from my own journey through menopause, which officially began in the summer of 2021—one full year after my last period.

During perimenopause, I made the conscious choice to be fully present with the complex physiological and psychological changes happening within me. I embraced this experience as an opportunity for deep personal and spiritual growth.

I sought guidance from wise elders—women who had already walked this path—who helped me understand the challenges and opportunities of crossing this threshold. They taught me to welcome the profound gifts of menopause and aging without bypassing the challenges, fears, and complexities. Through this, I found a deeper sense of who I truly am, marked by confidence, self-acceptance, and empowerment.

Much of this time was spent in deep self-reflection as I got used to my changing body, grieved the attachments to past identities, confronted internalized stigmas, constructs, and misogyny, and awakened to a greater level of self-confidence and empowerment; I emerged feeling whole, integrated, and wondrously aligned with myself and Spirit.

The resources, practices, and rituals in this course are drawn from the tools I used and created to navigate and illuminate my experience. I’m excited to share them with you, offering support on your own magickal menopause journey. I hope these offerings inspire you to embrace this powerful life phase with openness, curiosity, acceptance, and joy.

Shadow and Light: Crafting Identity and Self-Worth in the Menopausal Cauldron

  • Explore the attachments we have to identity, ego, constructs, and beliefs
  • Learn about the shadow of menopause and aging
  • Understand the powerful connection of the Mind/Body

  • Practice yoga sequences that release congested energy and internalized emotions

  • Cultivate a sense of empowerment, renewal, acceptance, and joy through guided visualization and affirmation

Week 4

The Sacred Circle: Embracing Eldership Through Ritual and Magickal Ceremony

  • Learn about the archetypes of the crone/elder and how it relates to our own growth
  • Understand the power of ritual and ceremony as an initiatory process for profound spiritual connection
  • Lean into purpose and the responsibility of mentor and eldership
  • Learn the various practices that support balance, steadiness, and calm, including a special Yin and Restorative sequence
